A New Year 2010
Back to school, back to work, New Year's resolutions, new habits, let's make 2010 the best it can be.

Our Community is better understanding the benefits to Shopping local. That old jingle... "Keep more money around...shop in your own home town." This is really the key to keeping some of the variety and diversity of restaurants, merchants and services available to serve our community.
At town meeting in November, Hudson exercised its option to increase the meals tax. Our town government and the residents at Town meeting felt that this was only way to make up for a shortfall in state aid to local towns and other shortfalls due to today's economic challenges. This additional .75% will add 7 cents to a $10 check and will save local jobs.
Please share this with family, friends, co-workers and neighbors. First Quarter is the toughest 3 months of the year for all small businesses. We need you now more than ever. Let's keep more doors open. When you have a choice please continue to choose local & independent.

CATERING FOR anytime...
We are excited to finally pull a sample of our custom catering together and produce a menu to assist with breakfast, brunch, lunch or anytime. Our lasagnas and snacks have helped people handle their entertaining. Here is our Catering Menu to give you some ideas. We have worked with our catering clients for years to custom cater to their tastes and budget. We hope to continue to do that, but give you a foundation to start with. We are offering some new incentives for take-out Lunch: Order for your office...(6 meals +) and we'll deliver. Order for your office 10 meals+) and the organizer gets lunch on us. Call us anytime with your catering needs, we will do what we can to assist you.
- Tarot card readings as part of Five Minute Fortunes by Tiana from 6-8pm on alternating Friday nights in the Lounge. Come with a question, and an open mind. For entertainment purposes only.. details and dates on calendar.
- We just Improved our Wireless at the cafe, better router, better connection...we now have FIOS. Instead of working from home, come work from the cafe, eat well, work, network, enjoy your privacy without the solitude. Escape the distractions that home can jingle in front of you. There is a new meet up group called Hudson Marlboro telecommuters which has planned its first meeting at Harvest Cafe on Thursday, February 4th at 9am-1pm.
- We are proud to offer a 10% Senior Citizen Discount ALL DAY on Wednesdays and Thursdays. (the best offer prevails and may not be combined)
- Cafe Values: We are offering Early Bird Specials, 4-6pm Save 30%(click on our dinner menu and look for the * ), Our "Cafe after dark" menu features sandwiches and menu items served daily 3pm-closing.
- New Deals for 2010: Noon to 6pm: Burger and a beer for $9.95, Half sandwich or salad and soup for $6.95. New house wines for $5 a glass and Mimosa and Bloody Mary's for $5.
- We have been informally hosting game nights here and there. Folks have been playing boggle and doing puzzles at the bar. Everynight or day can be about games and play at the cafe. What games interest you most? Scrabble, Poker, trivia, trivial pursuit. Clue and Outburst have just been donated. Would a theme be best? We hope to have something for everyone. We have a few new ideas that we are working on. Game night? Workshops? Movie night with dinner? Comfort food buffet? Let us know what you like to do!
Planning for dinner and the music? Feel free to call ahead to reserve tables for dinner and the music. We have had many large parties reserve tables for Saturday and Sunday breakfast and brunches lately. Call ahead, we will be happy to take care of you.

Each Month we have a standing date for various groups and gatherings. These nights are usually at 7pm in the lounge and there is an associated newsletter for each of the following groups: Book Club, Wine Night, Knitting Night, Songwriters workshop and then occasionally a special interest evening. Check out the Event page and calendar for more details. Sign up for our Email newsletter and select what interests you.
Open Mike on Wednesdays, hosted by Joe Ferierra and Steve Howard. Sign up at 7:00pm and play between 7:30-9:30pm. Live Music scheduled Thursday through Saturdays, 8pm-10pm and some Sunday Brunches in our dining room. Details in our calendar on the events page.
